Celebrating the Success of the AvMA Holly Jolly Christmas Dinner
We are honored to have supported the incredible AvMA Holly Jolly Gala Dinner, hosted at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London. This festive evening brought together professionals, advocates, and supporters dedicated to advancing justice and patient safety, all while celebrating the holiday spirit.
This evening was a remarkable showcase of collaboration and generosity. As proud sponsors of the event, alongside Temple Legal Protection Limited, we were inspired by the shared commitment to supporting the vital work of Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA). Their mission to assist individuals affected by avoidable medical harm is as essential as ever.
Each year, AvMA provides invaluable Advice, Information, and Support Services, including their:
- Helpline, which answers over 2,400 calls annually.
- Casework and Pro Bono Inquest Support, which ensure fair representation and justice for those impacted by medical harm.
These services operate for more than 1,300 hours annually, driven by the dedication of 108 pro bono volunteers.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the individuals who made this evening extra special. Joe Eley and Niall Costello from Price Slater Gawne Solicitors, Victoria Oliver and Henry Ramsay from Bolt Burdon Kemp. Our very own TMLEP members, Barry Paraskeva and Oliver Wildman.
Their contributions and enthusiasm reflect the collective commitment of all attendees to this meaningful cause.
At TMLEP, we are proud to support initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of those affected by medical harm. This year’s Holly Jolly Gala Dinner was a testament to the power of collaboration, community, and generosity. Together, we can continue to work towards a future of safer healthcare and fair representation for all.
